The Sport & Recreation Committee of FORWARD Worthington is proud to present the 47th Annual King Turkey Day Run on Saturday, September 19, 2026!
Since 1980, this beloved tradition has brought runners, families, and fans together in the heart of Worthington. More than just a race, it’s a celebration of fitness, community, and the spirit of King Turkey Day. And in 2026 — we’re turning up the excitement with new routes, new partners, and new experiences!
📍 Downtown Worthington is the place to be for:

10K Timed Run – a challenging course with beautiful views of Lake Okabena, finishing down historic 10th Street

5K Timed Run – now featuring a new scenic route perfect for runners of all levels
-
5K Walk – hosted by the Worthington Area YMCA, bringing fun and community spirit for those who prefer to set their own pace
