KING TURKEY DAY 5K/10K RUN & 5K WALK
THE RACE
Since its beginning in 1980, this event has grown to become one of the area's premier road races.
The Worthington Area YMCA is proud to be the organizer for the Annual King Turkey Day Run/Walk Events. All King Turkey Day (KTD) events are held in downtown Worthington. Competitive races include a 5K & 10K and medals will be handed out to the top three finishers in each age categories.
Events also include a casual walk by the shores of Lake Okabena for families.

2024 RACE INFORMATION
Join us for the 45th Annual King Turkey Day 10K Run! This course highlights Worthington and Lake Okabena as you travel around the lake to the finish line!
Not sure you can go the distance? Register for our KTD 5K Event! This event starts the route with the 10K, down to the lake but breaks off near the 2 mile mark and finished on main street.
Not a runner? Register for the KTD 5K Walk! This path is the same as the 5K Run, but at your own pace and is not a timed event.
