Earn your wings at the 1st annual KTD Amazing Race!
- 2 person teams (participants must be 18+)
- $100/team
Teams will race against the clock, deciphering clues, navigating local landmarks, and tackling unique mental and physical roadblocks. The first team to cross the finish line with earn their wings with a private airplane flyover the city of Worthington!
If you have ever dreamed of taking part of TV's hit show the Amazing Race, this may be your closest chance to the real thing! Put your competitive spirit to the test, then enjoy a delicious burger/hot dog meal at the finish line.
Check in begins @ Trojan Field at 5:30pm and the race will begin promptly at 6:00pm.
Funds raised will support this year's King Turkey Day festival.
RULES:
1. Teams must stay together at all times.
2. Drive safely and obey all traffic laws.
3. Be respectful of businesses, public property, and other people.
4. At each challenge site: complete each challenge, collect feather (each individual must finish with 5 feathers) and receive next clue before moving to the next location.
5. Get clue verified by site judge before beginning challenge (clue must align with location).
6. Follow clue instructions exactly. If you skip a task or don't complete it correctly, you must go back and finish it.
7. Don't ask other teams for answers, clues and no interfering with another team's progress.
8. If an emergency occurs, stop racing and contact the race organizer or 911 immediately.
9. Site judge decisions are final.
10. Once you’ve reached the finish, park your transportation in designated spots and run to mat.
11. In order to finish, both teammates must be standing on the mat with all feathers attached.
